Car rental drop off process?

Hi all!

I rented a car for the first time this trip, from Avis at the airport. What's the process for drop off? Do i just park the car in the Avis lot and leave the keys in the car, like some other airports? Is there a drop box? Do i have to check the car out at the terminal? Thanks, I just want to figure out how much time we will need.

You just follow the signs for the car rental returns for whichever terminal you'll be using, A or B. When you get into the parking garage follow the signs for Avis returns and there will be attendants showing you where to park and checking your car. We usually get a receipt from Alamo/National but I don't know for sure about Avis.
