Anyone have any thoughts on what would be easiest, most cost effective, etc.

We are going to WDW for four nights and then four nights on the Wonder. Right now I have a rental for 8 straight days (just going to park it at the terminal while we're on the Wonder) but am wondering about renting for just the time we are in WDW, drop rental car off at the port and then just rent a car to drive back to the airport after we disembark.

Just don't know if it would be less of a hassle to just keep the same car for the whole time. Anyone does something like this?

Two things--I would price it out both ways and see what the difference is. Could be if it is not a significant dollar amount that it would not be worth the extra time spent renting and returning.

Second, post the same question over on the cruise board and I bet you will get more experienced answers.

Good luck!

My brother and I both looked into this over Xmas. We found at that time of the year it was much cheaper to rent the car and just park it at the port. The one way rentals were just too high.

It was great not to have to worry about dropping off the car or picking up the car at the port. Parking is close and fairly reasonable. (I think we paid $20 for each car.)
