car rental company within walking distance of DL?

I feel like an old pro of WDW but I have to start over with info at DL. Is there any place close to just rent a car for the day? My cousin is a pastor in Irvine which is 20 minutes away and I want to give him a suprise visit. Thanks

I think it is odd that there is not a rental car agency on the resort property. I even double checked with vacation planning. There are several places on Harbor Blvd, but the Park Vue Hotel which is at "the Disneyland Pedestrian Entrance" has Avis rental cars. We are using this for our trip in November and this will be our first opportunity to rent a car in Anaheim, we usually drive ourselves.

I would check with the big hotels over near the convention center. The Hilton or the Marriott should have car rentals and it's a quick 15 minute walk through the DL parking lot.

Most major rental companies have an office next to Disneyland, either at one of the nearby hotels/inns, or around the convention center. I've used National on Harbor behind DCA. There's also an Alamo at the same location. You can shop rates through the internet to narrow things down, then check locations before you book.
