Back on topic - I was able to do just a little bit better using 5007160 [Continental Frequent Flyer Club - free to join] and the $35. coupon. While the initial rate is cheaper using the Visa code, you get a substantial discount for the Continental code after you click on the vehicle type and see the final total. My rate for one full week, plus 2 extra hours, mid-size with taxes/fees $141.

Do you know what the contract I.D. is for? I just used this to price a rental and it gave me the cheapest price so far. I just don't want to have to pay more at the end of the rental. thanks

I just got a Dollar rental from dec 1-13 for $287.23 (all taxes/fees included). Pick-up and drop off at MCO - Full Size car. I haven't rented a car in ages...does this sound good? It was the cheapest I found after playing with codes/coupons.

Yes, that's a great deal for 13 days. I have 15 days midsize at Alamo for $344 and it's the best deal I've found.

I am taking a last minute solo trip (no DH and no Dchildren - ooohh bad mom) to visit my parents and one day at Epcot. I will be gone Dec 15 - Dec 20. I booked an economy with Alamo using the Walmart code - 430710 and the $30 coupon AD2123JMC and my total $93.45 BTW - a full size is only $20 more, but it is just me so I will save the bigger cars for the people that need the extra room.

I was just going to have my parents pick me up and use their car as needed, but for that price I have to have my own wheels. LOL

Thanks for the tip! I used the same code and coupon and got ours for Dec. 11-17 down to $117 for a full size car! I have a National reservation for the EA for $135 and am happy to get a lower rate with Alamo since I've used them the past 3 trips.

I don't know if you need a physical coupon or not as it varies from coupon to coupon. The language that you "may" need to present a coupon is standard language and is meant to remind you to present your coupon if one is required. Most of the rental companies offer some online discount "coupon" codes that you don't have to present (no real coupon, so you wouldn't have anything to present anyway). But that's not the case for every discount coupon. Assuming that you know the origin of your coupon you should be able to read the rules associated with it and those rules should tell you whether you if you need to present anything.

Sorry I couldn't be more precise in responding to your specific situation. But then, of course, we don't know what code you're using.
