Car rental code Alamo or ?

I have found good airfare but need a car for Ft. Lauderdale. I am an AARP member but still get a rate of $35 a day. Is there a code for any car rental that could make it cheaper?

Look at the top of this page to the stickies..there is one for popular transportation links and they will have some info there, also go to mousesavers.com and they have discount codes for rentals..I booked through southwest and got a discount code as well for alamo..one week mon-mon compact car $149 all taxes and fees...

Thanks so much. I then sat down and DH pointed out how much 4 days would cost and did I want to take away from my used car savings? No, I am not going back to Fl, I am saving for a new used Volvo!
