Car Rental Cancellation Policies?

Haven't rented a car since Feb. 2005, have the online cancellation policies changed at all? I usually start out booking the best price a couple months out and then proceed to cancel and re-reserve as better rates come out. Any new penalties?~~

Depends on the rental company. All companies do post their cancellation policies on their websites.

The majority of car rental companies don't require payment in advance so there's no cancellation penalty, Alamo would be an execption if you take advantage of their prepay offer, there IS a cancellation fee involved but if I recall it's a pretty small amount.
