Car rental - Aug 2013 -

I'm looking to rent a mini van / SUV - I need it to fit two boosters and a reg car seat - as well as a regular size sedan for two weeks in August.

I've reserved a mini van via Alamo for $1107 for the two weeks, but I feel I must be able to do better.

What rates are others finding for August? Or too early?

Got the mini van down to $1042 with Hertz using the Mousesaver code.

We have an 8-day SUV rental through National for August 23rd to 31st for $251 taxes included using the code found in this thread:

For the National code, you need to sign up to be a member of the KLM Flying Blue program (which is free to join).

It might be worth running your dates to see if it makes a difference in your price.
