i have a friend that will let me borrow a car for a few days on my next visit. I am staying at a Disney resort and will not have the car at check in. They are going to bring the car over mid week. Should I tell them at check in I have a car to get the tag for the dash? Or can I go down to the front desk later and have the pass printed out. Also when my friend brings the car will security let them in the resort or will that be a problem. I am just going to have it a few days to go to universal and they will pick the car up later in the week. We are using magic express both ways front and to the airport. Any advice on how we should communicate this to Disney or work this out or just explain to them what we are doing? Just started to over think this at first I was like this should not be a problem then started to think this maybe an issue???

Most resorts aren't using the sheets of paper anymore. If they are you can ask at checkin or whenever or never. It's never really been that big a deal. I've routinely forgotten to put mine up and it's never been a problem.

Okay good to know. I have not used a car in many years. I think we will just ask at check in and am not expecting any problem they can direct us what will be needed if anything.

I would just get the pass when you register. They probably will ask you if you need a parking pass.

I would also just ask for the pass at check-in. We got one in October and it made things a little faster when returning to our home resort. The gate guards would look at the pass and let us through (I don't always like to use the MagicBand entrance because I can't reach the scanner without having to open the car door, so I would still use the entrance with the guard).

I was given a paper parking pass at BLT in November.
If you do online checkin, you won't get a parking pass automatically. You will need to go to the front desk to get one.
Be sure your friend tells the security person who he is there to see...seems to make things easier for those driving up.

I would get the paper when checking in ( and if needed you can get two)

I have friends come visit me all the time when I stay at Disney hotels they just show there IDS and the guards let them in no question asked.
