We leave for WDW in about 12 hours, went to start the car (Ford Explorer) dead battery:mad:

Well we got it jumped and it started right up.

The question is: We have atuo locks, and all of a suddend they lock and unlock, lock & unlock, for about 10 times in a row.

Could it be an electrical short?, The batterys in the key chain opener, the cold weather? Any idea all you mechanics?

I have no idea but I would not leave Ohio for WDW without having it fixed...

You know, for how much we can spend on a disney vacation, if your driving down and have this problem i would probably just rent a car. It will save miles on yours and then you can relax and deal with the problem when you get home. Theres no sence going into a vacation stressed.

You have an electical problem. Just like my car did. My possessed car. I'd get it fixed first if you can. My trunk opened, the car unlocked and locked and it was crazy.

I had an electrical short in my Windstar yesterday that caused the battery to drain while I was parked all day. When I went to start it, the care kind of hicoughed and the horn honked, the flashers flashed and the doors locked and unlocked. We jumped it, and it has been fine ever since. I think it is kind of like the fluke thing that happens every once in awhile with the auto shut off radio that doesn't!

Rent a car if you can Tony...It's not worth worrying about on your trip..
