Have been looking on the USRENTACAR website and have got a quote, for 7 days full size car with Budget pick up at Buena Vista, of £125.00. This includes an upgrade to premium car and gold insurance - is it really this cheap or do we need any other insurance - are there any hidden costs?

It really is that cheap. I just rented in August for 24 nights free upgrade to full size £414.
If you rent in blocks of 7 days (7, 14, 21 etc) then the cost is lower than renting for odd days like us with 24 nights. The extra few days bump it up a little but not much.
Everything is included, I add DW even though she has never driven in 20 trips, she is in included free so I add her.
Tank of gas is included so take it back as empty as poss. I take them back on fresh air.
Only thing they could try sell you is the roadside assist, you are covered for breakdowns but if you lock your keys inside or leave you lights on all nigt then you are not covered. I have never bought it but some do, I think its around $5/day. saying that they did not try sell me it in August.

Other companies put their prices up on 1st Oct, Budget didn't so prices might not stay low for much longer, we don't know.

My next 2 rentals, were cheaper elsewhere, this month Airnet.co.uk and Xmas www.carhireflorida.net (owned by Elle & Tim who post on here)

I usually book car hire using discount codes off mousesavers.com and then buy my insurance before I go - insure4carhire.co.uk

Anyone got any other recommendations for cheap car hire ?
