Car Hire With Airline Network

Read one or two negative posts about this comapny recently which surprised me as I've often used them for both flights and car hire and had no problems at all. I decided to book with them again this year as they still had the best price for what I wanted. They still use Dollar. Decided to book a bit earlier than usual in case of problems, but my voucher arrived within 2 days with everything in order.

I'm not connected with this company but just wanted to let people know of a positive experience.
 
I'll second that! I've used them 2 or 3 times a year for car hire for years now and have always been pleased with the price and service. Haven't booked a flight with them for years though so can't comment on that.
 
I have had the best price from these too, not booked yet though.
 
I found Alamo direct to be much cheaper for my dates. Then I used the codes on AllearsNet and saved another $100!

I have also used Airline Network many times in the past. Always been pleased with service and price on offer. However, this year they are nowhere near the cheapest prices for like for like at Dollar.

We used them in December with no problems and are planning on using them again for our April/May trip - just about to book, in fact. For our 3 week rental picking up in Washington and dropping off in Orlando, they are 2/3 the cost of booking directly with Dollar. When dh phoned Dollar for a quote, they even suggested he try them.
 
We used them before with no problems. However, this year we had to make changes to our bookings - due to a major change to flight times. They were just unable to cope with the changes required. Front office don't seem to talk to back office. Remember - the true test of a company is how they cope when things go wrong. In my opinion, they failed to cope. The guy on their help desk agreed with me!

I could not agree more as in previous posts I said what a shambles they were when things went wrong.
I now deal exclusively with Elle at Florida Homes and Travel the personal touch is worth an extra £10 over the cost of the rental to me. In fact last time I looked she was cheaper anyway.

Has anyone used usrentacar, l have done various quotes (different dates and cars) and they have beaten airline network every time. The biggest difference was £82 on the price of a 4x4 Jeep.

For what l want

usrentacar.co.uk £348 (with Alamo)

uscarhire.co.uk £354 (Dollar) £360 (with Alamo)

so not much of a difference between the two but usrentacar will be the one l book with.
