We have just missed out on the Hertz 33% off sale as bookings have to be completed by 30th June and we leave 6th July.

As this is our first time diy, do sales as good as this appear quite frequently?

Looking for a minivan and can find prices about £350 at the moment. Not sure whether to book now or hang on :confused3

Sales come and go, I booked with Hertz last November for this April, 2 weeks 7 seater SUV for £266 less £17 Quidco (just changed to tracked today)

Just looked at Holiday Autos thru this 15% off link, 14 nights from 6th July http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/othe...e/734198-holidayautos-discount-worldwide.html
£356 less 10% Quidco = £320

Hertz is not cheap just now, using code 504335 and 15% Quidco it would cost £365

I would wait for a sale, plenty of time before July yet.

Thanks Wayne. Knew you'd come to my rescue :goodvibes

I should have put we leave Orlando the 6th July. We actually go 22nd June.

Will keep looking .

The best deals can be found just weeks before your trip. I always book my car 7-10 days before our trip.

Well I ended up caving in Wayne and paid £338 with alamo/brits. Sometimes I get so annoyed with myself that I have to be so organised. On the plus side, there's no charge to cancel if I see a sale but it's booked now so I'm happy. One less thing to do.:)

Now we have to agree on tickets

Thanks for your help anyway.

I am totally the opposite, I struggle to hit the buy button, always think a better deal will come up, did it again this week, hotel we want for 1 night near Venice Fl, could have booked for £59 but thought it would get cheaper(hope it still does) but its gone up to over £70 now.
We go in 10 weeks, still need hotel for 9 night nights in Orlando. Something will turn up.:rotfl:

I agree.
Looking at Hertz prices even as a Gold club member they are well off the track. funnily enough, Avis via British Airways is coming out the best...
