Car hire reduced prices

Never used them but just been checking prices on carhire3000.com
Rates I looked at are lower than USrentacar, might be worth a look if you haven't booked your summer car yet.
Maybe the improved exchange rate is being passed on.

I've booked with them before without any problems and have just used them for my upcoming trip in September as couldn't beat their price for the mid-size 4x4 I prefer... Also they offer the onsite pick up/MCO drop off that I like...

Wow! I think I'll be booking with these! I'm 24 and so far have had quotes of £800 plus because of the young driver surcharge. I've just had a quote on a 4 door Chev, surcharge and premium insurances included as well as a full tank of petrol for £350 all in!

£35 to book, which I imagine I'll be doing later today lol.

They are agents, reading about them looks like people get either Dollar or Alamo cars but it will be whoever they can get best rates with.

I have now decided to make use of ME and pick up our car from Disney Care Center. Not only have we saved money by having a car for 10 days instead of 14, i have also saved £300 by hiring a smaller car as there will be no need to store all our luggage as well as three children .... marvelous!!!

Can not believe they are cheaper than beloved Usrentacar ... a lot cheaper

Looks like the exchange rate is stabilizing around $1.63, I wonder if the other companies will follow? their rates were surely worked out on an exchange rate of around $1.40.

Have checked for us, and seems really good. Only thing is I cant see that it offers the gold insurance. I was actually thinking about driving this year, and it only seems to offer insurance for one driver. Have I missed something?

If you look further down the page there should be more rates with this in the box

Had an email from Tim at www.carhireflorida.net regarding Carhire 3000 rates. As I said earlier I have never used Carhire3000 but I have used Tim & Elle's site with no problems at all so also check out their rates and see how they compare. Other site I always check is netflights. Between these and USrentacar hopefully you will all find better rates than last few months.

Another option is to call the car hire firms and see what they can do.
I just had a look and for our dates, Carhire3000's price for a Grand Cherokee with extra driver and full tank was £411

Hertz online was £402

I rang Hertz up and got extra discount for using mastercard (Its showing on the itinerary as CDP MASTERCARD)
and got the same car for £365 and thats with Gold Canopy collection

So its worth a call to the hire companys to see if they can beat their online prices.

Also, I think depending upon what class of cars they have available at your time, some car hire *** are better in different classes than others and vice-versa

I checked CarHire 3000, although it doesnt seem to tell you WHO you're actually booking the car with and I only want to be on-airport.


Best Ive seen so far is Netflights selling Thrifty - although I'm not sure whether Thrifty are on-airport or off as there's conflicting info.

Any reason why you want just on airport jez?

I use Hertz, located off airport and its very quick, no queues like some of the on airport checkin desks.

Mine was for 14 days

Good find! I'm getting a similar price to my usrentacar Budget booking for Orlando, slightly cheaper but not worth losing my original deposit over. For our NY to Boston leg Hertz direct work out cheaper and they let me know the one-way fee in advance which is important (don't want a nasty surprise later )

Thanks for the info Obi Wan - thats a great price for 14 days - I might give them a call.

The reason for wanting on-airport is her indoors really. We tend to have a TON of baggage for the four of us and its usually reliant on me to get it on and off the bus.

However since i'm looking at picking up on i-drive at least i'd only have to do that once - when returning at the airport
