Car hire queues

I have been looking into car hire for Sept, I always use Florida Homes and Travel. I have been told they now have some deal with Budget whereby they fast track you for the car pick up. I am told you now just go to a dedicated booth in the car park (not the normal fast track one) and just pick up the keys, I am also under the impression you don't have to register or anything as they do it all for you. Sounds good if it saves time after a delayed flight ;-))

Dollar have a scheme, Dollar Express, which you can register for on-line so that you can use their dedicated check-in desk and it is so much quicker. We didn't have to queue at all the last time, straight to the desk and it only took 2 mins

Dont know about Budget but I second Dollars scheme.
At Easter our friends had to go in regular line(I forgot to tell him about Express) took them just about 1 hour. took us 5 minutes, we were next to be seen when we arrived and they have all your details on database so you are on your way. We also got free upgrade 2 groups from Fullsize to Luxury. Our friends didn't in regular line.
You dont have to book direct with Dollar, we use Airline network. Register free online on Dollars website.
If you want to stick with Budget have a look on their website for info if no one responds.

They offered me this service when I spoke with them. However they had to change to Dollar for my booking so I didn't get it. Still booked through them though.

Unfortunately, after my experence of waiting for a whole hour at a Budget desk last September, I will NEVER use them again. It wasn't a question of not enough cars, it was an issue of 40 people in a queue with only one assistant working on the desk for cars coming in AND going out.

Dollar on the other hand have only ever taken a few minutes without exception.
