Would you pay for the gold package?

I'm trying to work out if it's really worth paying the extra £114 for me to drive and a full tank of fuel I've found a SUV for 22 days for £473

Is there a gas station near MCO for us to fill up if we don't have the gold package? As I don't fancy paying the airport prices for fuel

Who is the car hire with?

We always need 2 drives as DH & I both drive and sometimes separate so we would have to pay the extra driver fee local which with Alamo last time I checked was about $10 a day.

For a mini-van a tank of gas is about $50 so an SUV would be similar.

I paid for Gold last month as it was only about an extra £40 on our rental with Alamo.
When I arrived they would not accept I had an additional driver included and tried charging me $11/day(probably + tax) she eventually waived it but would not accept I had it included.
When I dropped the car(SUV Intermediate) they wrongly added a tank of gas for $54. Had to get a manager to remove it.

You need to do the figures for yourself, for me I only accept gold if the prices is similar to a tank of gas, we have rented over 50 cars in the US and DW has still never driven so I only add her for emergencies if the cost is low.

ETA Gas is sometimes expensive near the airport (although recently one opened with a $2.99/gal offer) most people fill up at DTD/LBV/Kissimmee/Idrive area, anywhere from here or nearer still shows full at the airport.
