Car Hire question again but need help!

Hi,
I know there have been lots of threads re car hire , but I need help as I just don't get the prices that everyone else does? We are 2 adults/2 children , travelling to Orlando Airport 10-26/8/13,we had a Ford Focus last time and that was fine so would have something similar..can anyone help with a decent price or am I better waiting for a flash sale??I appreciate any help , thanks.

The link I usually use is not working just now, I hope its just a glitch and works again after the weekend but its not been giving the usual 15% discount for a couple of days now.

It has been around the £328 mark for a 4 door Focus or similar.

Firstly never book a 2dr car with Alamo, you choose on arrival, 2dr(which I have never seen) and 4 dr are all in one line to pick from. I have rented about 40 cars, always booked 2 dr but never had one yet.

I use this offer below, the first link usually gives 15% & 11% Quidco & a £15 code Weather15 (instructions in post#3) but its not giving the discount just now so the 2nd link gives 10% off at £265.50, if the instructions work the same and you can get Quidco ontop you will pay £236.30

I am still looking for August myself but waiting for a better code or better cashback but my rental will be over £500, yours might be worth booking now.

that would explain why i got way higher prices yesterday than earlier in the week when i looked , the oh was home from working away and that was our task to sort , at least he has agreed we needs a bigger car than had originally planned and budgeted for

I wana collect n drop at swan or Disney car care, for 12 days, 31 oct -12 nov.

Does £288 sound reasonable fir a small SUV ?

Where do you find discount codes on the net, *** I keep checking the 'deals' pages on both national and Alamo and see nothing.

Thru the link (search Dolphin not Swan) above it would be £255 less 11% Quidco = £226, possibly cheaper if you wait for a code nearer the time, I post them when I see them.

Yes, cars are thru Alamo and fully insured. Holiday Autos are owned by Lastminute.com.
