Car hire - looks like VA are the cheapest

I've been searching all night and over the weekend.

Here are my car hire prices for August

Virgin atlantic - 272
Brits code - 286
Disney direct - 329 (Alamo)
Usrentacar (Alamo) - 315 - I can get a budget with free upgrade for 308.00 (Intermediate to full) I have used this price in case upgrade not available.
Net flights 340.00 (dollar)
holiday autos 352.00 (in the sale).

From what I can tell they are all for the inclusive insurance rather than gold, and I will have to pre-pay the fuel on arrival.

There are also 2 miles for every £1.00 spent plus 1000 bonus miles when you present your card when collecting the car.

Am I missing anything here, as it's unusal for VA to be cheaper than everyone else. Offer is only on until end of January for car hire anytime in 2010

Have you tried Holiday Autos? They have 20% off at the moment and I got a good price from them the other day (slightly cheaper than VA)

I booked through VA yesterday. Lux car, Plat upgrade(full tank of fuel+extra driver), sat nav for 7 days and got it for £280. Have looked all over , but the fact that i will get extra points won me over. And as its Virgin it just gives me peace of mind.

Just to update - I've just booked ours (with Holidayautos).
We got an economy, including all the insurances for £172. That's for 12 days picking up at Downtown Disney 25th Sept - 6th Oct.
It suits us to use the Disney transport for the first few days when we're doing the parks and we'll pick the car up on the weekend to venture out
The full 15 days would of only been £199 but we probably wouldn't use it for the 1st few days.
