Car hire gone wrong!

Hi - Expedia have messed up our car rental - booking it to the wrong airport.

Booked over the phone, and the booking has been made to MCO instead of Sanford. Correcting this means, cancelling and re-booking now at a greater price.

They have offered to investigate, but this could take upto 10 days and may not find a solution. And as it was by phone, its our word against theirs - joy!

So - in need of a recommendation. We are looking for a cheap rental, 7 seater with two drivers and trying to find something under £400.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Don't let them fob you off, this is their mistake, demand they fix it. It's not word of mouth, they should have recorded your conversation, plus, why would you book car hire at an airport you're not flying to?

You wouldn't, ring them back and tell them to fix it.

I've had five or six conversations yesterday and today.

Finally got to speak to a supervisor, who wouldn't move on the 10 day investigation - to find out if its recorded.
 

I took a guess on your dates. USrentacar.co.uk is under £400
 
oh that might be just one driver think 2 drivers is just over, its with dollar
 
My suggestion is for them to amend it for delivery to your hotel area and they pay for a transfer then they don't have to do an investigation.:confused3
