nearly booked Sixt via Holiday Autos yesterday, 22 nights for £611 for SUV. That's £70 more than last year so thought I'd wait and now nearly £700 today. Anyone seen any decent prices for August?
Thanks

Car hire seems very expensive this year - I have booked Alamo Brits for now so I have a price locked in but will keep shopping. Hopefully the dollar will improve and the rates will come back down.

Ended up booking with Virgin Holidays £570 for an SUV for 22 Nights. Never thought to check them before assumed they would be more expensive. So happy with the price given the $ at the moment.

Seems reasonable at £25/night for a SUV.
I am looking for 6 nights in Oct but they are wanting £30/night, same price as Hertz with AA discount & cashback. I will wait for a better deal.

We need from 12th Aug to 5th Sept and we only go for an Intermediate but we havemt booked yet, so I expect the price has increased with the exchange rate being rubbish x

I have been watching prices for months now, prices haven't changed at all with poor exchange for dates we want. Maybe it's affected some, but not ours.

Ours was £398 last year and it's £479 this year for a compact car :0( xx
