How do I go about finding discount codes for the various rental companies?

Also any tips on finding transportation for 8

you might want to try to get a van to meet you at the airport if that is your plan. If you want your own car then try mousesavers.com for the discound codes. But if you just need to get back and forth to your resort try one of the towncar companies. They rent vans that fit up to 10 for just $10-15 more roundtrip than a car. Plus it is great to have them waiting for you when you get off the plane.

We like Tiffanytowncar.com or Murray/hill which has a website but I can't remember it. You can google it with adding Orlando to the search. They seem to be the cheapest and are getting really good reviews on the boards. We may try them our next trip.

Unless you only have one licensed driver in the group over age 25, your most cost-effective option for car rental will likely be to rent 2 smaller cars.

You'll have to go up to a full-sized van or full-sized SUV to get seating for 8 in a single vehicle, and both of those are the most expensive classes. Also, your insurance coverage sometimes is not valid for rental vehicles in those classes; if you go with a large vehicle be sure to check w/ your insurer and your CC company in case you need to buy the rental company coverage.
