I apologize if this is one of those questions that gets asked frequently, I tried doing a search and it gave me an error.

If I understand correctly, if I rent a car from that location, there is a shuttle to/from our hotel (we're staying at POP). Does this shuttle run 24 hours? On my National reservation, it lists shuttle hours and the last one is at 6:00 pm. Is that the National shuttle, and/or does Disney have their own shuttle? Will I need a cab if I return the car after then?

You need to check the Car Care Center's hours, they are not open 24/7. That might be why the shuttle doesn't run after 6pm that particular day. The shuttles are kind of a mini-bus that are operated by Alamo/National to/from the CCC to all the WDW resorts. The last time we wanted one, I think we asked at the front desk but it was a long time ago...maybe when you arrive you can ask (assuming you're getting to WDW using ME) at your resort?. If you are renting through National, be forewarned that the CCC is not always up on all the rules for the Emerald Club levels (since they are primarily an Alamo location).

Like agnes! said, the shuttle is run by National/Alamo. When you book your reservation, and get your confirmation, the local number for the CCC branch will be on that confirmation. You have to call them to arrange pickup from your resort. You can call up to 24 hours prior, and must call at least 1 hour prior to your desired pickup time.

We've had them pick us up from our resort, and from EPCOT before. Very easy.

But no 24/7 service, because the CCC is not open 24/7 like some airport locations.

If you return your car after their hours, you would definitely be on your own as far as getting back to your resort.
