Car Care Center Directions

The last time I was at WDW, there was a ton road construction going on around the MK toll plaza and World Dr. Google Maps isn't always up to do date, and its directions are a little weird. Does anybody know if the route I highlighted in red from the MK toll plaza to the Car Care Center currently valid? Or is there a new way? Thanks.

That area is a mess right now with construction and that map is out of date. If you enter through the toll plaza follow along the lower road that runs inside the Magic Kingdom parking lot (stay left and keep the parking area to you right side) and then it will look like you are exiting but there will be a lighted sign showing where to make your right hand turn into the Speedway. Just stay in the right lane once you exit the parking. The Speedway is connected to Car Care.

We made a wrong turn going to MK and ended up in the Car Care Center. We couldn't get out. Seriously, it took us a while to get back to the entrance. This was 3 weeks ago.

Side note, we have been to Disney before and drove from Maryland so can follow directions.

^^ Yea a lot of the signage @ Disney seems to assume you are a frequent visitor who already knows were everything is located. I can recall the first time we ever went to Disney years ago, there were no signs for the Contemporary resort on that freeway and you had to know it was considered part of "Magic Kingdom" which certainly wasn't obvious to us (we had no idea how things were grouped). It's like driving on a congested multi-lane freeway with exits all over the place that are poorly marked. You can easily find yourself in the wrong lane going someplace you didn't intend. By the time you figure it out you have already taken the wrong exit. The only time you actually see a hotel related sign you are nearly on top of the resort. Don't know it they have ever improved the signage.

Just a quick update to my comment, the lighted sign has been replaced with a regular road sign (white with black lettering) but the lanes have stayed the same.
