car accident..

ok so my brother was in a car accident this morning at 1 am (thursday the 5th) and he was hit by a drunk driver..it was in kansas city missouri or on his way to south dakota or something idk..somewhere up there..he's okay though. I am so glad!

he was driving and his passenger went through the windshield so he had to go to the hospital and i dont think he was wearing his seatbelt either. but my brother was..

a couple months ago, a couple girls from our school soccer team got hit by a drunk driver and some of them had to have surgery and rehab and stuff. i never thought it would happen to anybody i knew..but now i know it could happen to anybody.

the guy who hit him got out of his car and tried to run away..what an idiot. so anyway, i just had to post something about it to get it out of my head a little bit..

this happened to my older sister once and it felt really nice to talk about to people so i know how you feel to get it off your chest. my sister was ok and your brother will be too! and talking on the boards is a good way to get your mind off it for a bit

There has been so many car crashes this year that I known of and thank god youe brother had the sence to put on a seat belt. My prayers go out to the passenger.

Maybe the Drunk Driver was too Drunk to relieze...he wasn't getting away LOL.

I just called him. They were hit from like the drivers side of the car. So like right at him. He said the guy is in jail for 90 days. I really don't think that's long enough but he didn't kill anybody..but I still think he should be in jail for a lot longer.

I agree. He still was drunk, driving, and put someone in the hospital. Sometimes I get really mad at the legal system....
