We are staying at the Beach Club and we need another TS. We have two Epcot TS on our list. The Cape May Breakfast. We need one more. We will be at HS this day with no park hopper option. I was wanting to try another at our resort area. Either YC or BW. We only can use a 1 TS credit. So is Captians Grille at YC good or do you recommend something else?

Thanks!:)

Honestly I would go to Cape May again. Spoodles breakfast was terrible and we ate at Capts Grille twice, once off the menu and once for the buffet and it was gross both times

We ate at Capts Grill last summer for breakfast it was great. I had the blueberry pancakes and my sister had the berry waffles. They were soooo good.

Another great breakfast is Konas or Capt Cooks Tonga Toast. Ok my mouth is now watering and I dont normally care for bannanas.

The buffet at the Trails End is always voted the best deal on WDW property.
If you want something quiet for breakfast the GF Cafe is nice.

Are you looking for a breakfast TS or a dinner TS?
I have never eaten at the Captain's Grill, so I can not comment on it. For a fun evening we have enjoyed the ESPN club with typical bar food and we have also enjoyed the Big River Grill at the Boardwalk.
We loved the Flying Fish, but that is 2 TS credits.
Good Luck

We had a great meal at the Captain's Grill. We were four adults and all tried different menu items. Everyone enjoyed thier choices, apps, entrees, and desserts.

We liked CG when we had dinner there in November. The steak was a bit fatty but everything else was fine. The raspberry shakes were fabulous! We also enjoyed walking outside by the water. We tried to rent the bikes but they were all out. The atmosphere out there was very enjoyable.

We are not big fans of Capt's Grille. Cape May is much better. My family really enjoys ESPN as well (they always outvote me and we end up there every vacation), and we've had a few good meals at Big River Grill. I would not recommend Capt's Grille when there are other, better restaurants to try.

I can imagine what the ESPN club is like, but what is the atmosphere over at the Big River Grill? You say that is at BW? Yes, we want a dinner TS.

DH and I went to Capt's Grille for lunch last Spring. We thought it was great and will add it to our list for our next trip. The day that we ate there we took the boat from Epcot. You could do the same from HS. Not the fastest way to travel but it adds to the magic. Another poster mentioned that they didn't like the buffet at CG. I wasn't aware that they had one.

They have a breakfast buffet. Not bad; just nothing to write home about. Big River Grille is pub-ish as well. Nothing great as far as atmosphere goes, but the food is decent. It's bigger and more open than ESPN. I like ESPN & Big River Grille about the same. There are 7 in my family, and most of the others would choose ESPN in a heartbeat. They are really crazy about going there whenever
we're in Disney. BR Grille is right on the boardwalk, more central than ESPN.

We loved the Captains Grille! Its a definate "must do" for our next trip. We had an amazing Mahi Oscar at the Big River Brewery, also. You really have a number of good choices in that area, Spoodles is also excellant.

Captain's Grill has a nice breakfast and lunch. We've never had a dinner there.
Big River has a pretty good lunch. I especially like their burgers.

Captain's Grille for dinner, absolutely.

For breakfast, not so much.

Have never been there for lunch but we hear it is also quite good.
