Is the Captain's Grille at YC a counter service or table service restaurant? We're trying to find a good place for breakfast at BC and are puzzled as to where we can get a good counter service breakfast around there

Captain's Grill is a table service restaurant.

If you are looking for a hot breakfast platter, nothing like that is offered at the Epcot resorts for CS with the exception of the Picabu cafeteria at the Dolphin, which is not on the dining plan. Dining plan guests looking for a CS breakfast that doesn't involve cereal, pastries or sandwiches would likely have to enter Epcot and go to Sunshine Seasons, assuming they have a park ticket that will allow them to do so.

We are staying at Beach Club for the first time this coming May and as far as I can tell there are no CS breakfast options like you'd find at most other resorts, so we'll probably do a breakfast sandwich (ham & cheese croissant) or french sticks with ham or just wait until we get to a park and grab something. I believe we can use our snack credits for breakfast pastries like a cinnamon roll (but could be wrong) and may do that as well.
