Please tell me which one your prefer? I am havig trouble picking which one to go to. I have been to The Wave and loved the food, but the Captain's Grille looks good and we are staying at The Beach Club.

My family ate at The Wave on our last trip and thought it was our least favorite of the trip. A large part of it has to do with our waitress. She stood at our table and talked to my Dad for a good 15 minutes about her life philosophy. Also, I ordered an entree that was served with a salad that was very bitter. I've never eaten at Captain's Grille, but I did make an ADR there for our upcoming trip.

The crab legs at CG are FANNNNNNNNNNNstastic. My DH gets the steak and likes it.. (But he only goes so I can get the crab). I always hit this when staying at the BC, and miss it when we stay at SSR.

I have never tryied the Wave for comparison, but all rest I have been too CG is my Fav. ...again might be those crab legs. :thumbsup2

We love both restaurants. My dh, ds's always order the crabcakes @ Captain's grille.
We hate buffets so we tend to prefer dining at restaurants where the entrees are not huge but have lots of flavor.

I can't speak about The Wave from firsthand knowledge, but I have been researching it for an upcoming stay at BLT, and all the recent reviews are not very favorable. From the new dark decor to the uninspired food. Just based on the multiple rviews we have seen and heard we are going to pass on TW.
On the other hand, CG has had more favorable reviews and I really want to try that one out :rotfl2:

No experience w/ The Wave, but we ate at CG for Thanksgiving and it was great! We were not expecting the wonderful experience we had! Enjoy! :goodvibes

Our one experience at the Wave was less than stellar. We had our longest wait of our trip and our server was slow. The atmosphere is definitely not Disney, although to be honest, it matches the Contemporary which is why we don't stay there.

We haven't eaten at the Captain's Grille but friends of ours loved their meal there and we plan to try it next trip.

Steak and desserts...the WAVE wins hands down.
Crab cakes .... The Captain's Grill.
Bothe restaurants are great for Adults.

We ate at the Wave for a few dinners and one breakfast in June. Mainly for convenience because we stayed at cr.

Everyone enjoyed the dinners. Breakfast was breakfast- our server suggested both times for DS to order the smoothie which was good!

If I were staying at CR again, I'd make a res there!

It is dark in there - no windows

We ate at both and enjoyed both Nov. 2010. CG is relaxing to me. The Wave was busier and louder. It is darker as well. The food was very good at both.

Since you are staying at the BC, CG is right there for you. You can enjoy a drink while waiting. I loved sitting in the lobby area and relaxing before dinner. Probably enjoyed absorbing all of the Christmas decorations...:)

Either way, I don't think you will be disappointed.
