My Western Cruise in February, Formal night was night 2 with the drink reception before dinner. The captain gala menu with the lobster is your 2nd time in 1923. So it’s going to vary based on your dining rotation schedule

What do they serve at the drink reception? Is it included? or an extra charge?

Free, servers with trays of drinks - mix of alcoholic and non alcoholic walking around atrium, officers are out socializing. They do on 7 nights cruises. A shorter cruise still may have a formal night but no reception
