Is it worth it? I was looking at the different reviews for Captain kids and it seemed like a hit or miss. But for $10 you can't expect it to be amazing, just a good bang for your buck. So for all the Disneyland vets who know Disneyland food vs outside food, is Captain Kids worth it. How were the lunch/dinner food options.

I haven't eaten there, but everything I have read recently says it is horrible, even for $10. We went to Disneyland last summer & it is convenient as far as location goes. It's right across the street from the park.

It's a buffet with cheap foods. It will fill you up but it's not something I would want to do again.
I'd much rather eat anyplace else in the area.

It sounds like cutie Chef Ramsey needs to rescue Captain Kid.

A certain podcast that I recently listened to said it's a place to avoid at all costs.

I am surprised actually that they have not been shut down by the Health Department. This based upon what I have read over time. Any restaurant that repeatedly makes people ill needs to be investigated.

Oops.....

Save your $10! You'll get a better meal at McDonald's...if you can imagine that! I honestly don't know how this place stays in business because I don't know of one person that has returned after the first horrible trip!:crazy2:

I think they stay in business because there's a never ending supply of unsuspecting first (and only) time customers.

Actually they have deals with some of the hotels in he area . I know when we stay at the best western next door, we get vouchers for the breakfast upstairs at captain kids.mwhich is mostly a continental breakfast and they have some breakfast meats and scrambled eggs, we just have toast coffee and fruit.

I would not pay to eat there.

When people ask how they stay in business, I think the breakfast contract with BWPPI is a big part of it.

Here's a review on just how bad it really is:
