Captain Jumped Ship on Water Taxi!!!

Just returned from PBH and had a horrible experience with the water taxis.
On our last day our first water taxi pilot kept getting stuck and when we finally arrived at City walk she jumped out to run and talk to another taxi pilot
did not even wait for the passengers to disembark.
Our trip home with another pilot seemed to be okay but when he tried to dock the taxi he jumped out while it was a few feet from the dock and it floated away (it was not secured by the rope) well there were about 10 of us on board 4 of which were children under the age of 5. He did not say anything to us as we floated away a fellow passenger tried to steer the taxi and we went around in circles for about 15 minutes when finally a rescue boat came and a man jumped on to steer us to dock. The original pilot said nothing to us not even an apology! The children were crying. We complained to the hotel and were told he would be spoken to but heard nothing else.
Has anyone else ever had a problem? I will think twice before taking the water taxis again. My son who is 4 would not go on after that.

How horrible, we have never had a problem with the water taxi's!! We have had some problems with the docking....Some captain manuever the boats better than others, but they have never left us floating!!

Wow. That is awful! We just got back from RPR last week. We walked except for the one time we took the water taxi and that trip was fine.

They should of sent someone down from management to investigate that--and to make sure the passengers were ok....let's just say for argument sake there was some type of emergency or the passenger that tried to help actually caused the boat to take in water and/or capsize. Unbelievable!!!! How tramatic for young children!!

That is totally unacceptable. I would have been furious! I would call Universal or write a letter. We had a problem with there not being (anywhere near) enough water taxis, but never anything like this!

Yeah, during my trip 1st - 5th, they didn't run the taxis enough, lines were getting long and the drivers .. didn't know what they were doing. One took 20+ minutes just to "dock" at City Walk.
