Captain Hook - is he still around?

With pirates of the caribbean closed, has anyone seen Hook hanging around? My son is already going to be so sad not to see the pirate ride (he's 3) but we MUST see Captain Hook. Someone, somewhere please tell me that you have seen Captain hook since the ride has been close! Any info. is welcome!!!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised to bump into the Captain (O Captain, my Captain!) at EPCOT's Character Connection in December. After years of trying, I finally got a decent picture with him!
Apparently most of the characters show up there throughout the day. If you happen by and he's not there, though, perhaps you might flag down a CM, tell him/her your son's a devotee, and inquire whether he'll be available in the near future.

Captain hook is always in the 3 oclock parade at the MK..

How funny that you posted this! We just saw him today at the entrance to the Pirates ride. It was just a short 5 minute wait in line to get a pic with him.
I hope he is still there when you visit!

He is usually found wandering around Adventureland in MK. Peter Pan and Wendy make appearances there also right across from POTC.

Yes - we saw him, and PP and Wendy right outside of POC on Sunday. They were quite fun. DD was in a "grump" when we saw them and didn't really want to wait to get the pic and autograph, but as you can see, they got her smiling!!!
