Just wondering if anyone knows what kind of breakfast is available at Captain Cook's? We're staying at the Poly in Nov. and I'm not sure if I should make ADRs for breakfast at Kona or will Captain Cook's satisfy the kids ( 3 & 5..both big breakfast eaters)...I'm happy with a muffin and a cup of coffee.

Has anyone stayed at the Poly and successfully made last minute ADR's for early breakfast at Konapirate: ??

You can see the menus for both on allears. They do have Tonga Toast in Capt. Cook's now, previously only available at Kona.

I don't know about last minute ADRs, but I think they probably wouldn't be that difficult to get, depending on when you are going.

Captain Cook's has Mickey waffles (with or without bacon), a combo plate with eggs, potatoes, and such, a kids' breakfast with eggs and bacon I believe, Tonga Toast, and then all the pastries, yogurts and things CS places have.

I think if you get to Kona at or near opening, you'll be able to get in. We were.

Since your going to WDW in November why don't you call for an ADR at Kona Cafe when you can make them. This way you can try Captin Cook's 1st since it's a counter service location, where you don't need an ADR. So if you end up enjoying it you could cancel at Kona Cafe with nothing to lose, or maybe you would want to try both locations.
