Here's how their website describes the 'short' excursion:

Short Excursion (approx. 2.5 hours):

Times: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, 11:15 AM to 1:15 PM, or 1:45 to 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday (Check in by 8:00 AM, 10:45 AM or 1:15 PM)

· Stingray City sandbar, where you may feed and swim with the 'rays

· Snorkel at the incredible Barrier Reef or the Coral Gardens!

· Price: US$34/ages 12 and over; US$20/ages 4-11; under age 4, free!

· Price includes round-trip transportation from the Waterfront Centre, or from your condo or hotel on Seven Mile Beach, PLUS snorkel gear, life vest (optional), food for the stingrays, and icewater and fruit punch on board the boat.

Should I schedule the morning or afternoon excursion? I'm thinking that the 11:15-1:45 may be less crowded. Any opinions/advice/comments ??

You might not be able to make an 8:30 A.M. departure time. That will depend on when you can make your tender. You also have to make it to the marina and be aboard the boat by then...

Also, I think the last tender back is 4PM, so you may be cutting it close to get back on the ship if you do the later excursion!
