Cap'n Jack's

Has anyone eaten at Cap'n Jack's in DTD? I have read pretty good reviews in a couple of guidebooks & was wondering what is good/bad, etc. Also, if it is a good place for kids to eat. It seems like it may be a little more casual than some of the other seafood restaurants in WDW which may be more enjoyable for our family.

We ate there on our last trip in 2000. I've heard mixed reviews, but our family really liked it. We had a seat right next to the window and because the dining room "juts" out into the water, it looked like we were "floating" in the water! We had a great view all through the meal! DH and I really enjoyed our food and the kids (ages 5, 8, 10) all found options on the menu to satisfy them. It was definately a more casual "sit-down" option and we felt very comfortable with the kids being there.

Capt. Jack's is one of our favorites. We have eaten there each trip (9 times!!!!) and will be going back in Dec.

i've had bad luck here. terrible food. if you like golden corral type of food go for it.
