We are going in June and our anniversary falls when we are there. DH likes seafood, DW is picky and eats chicken and steak. We are doing the dining plan and were looking at Cap'n Jacks. Any reviews, is it worth it.
Thanks

It's been quite some time since we have been there, but I do remember it being loud, noisy, and more of a bar-type atmosphere. I don't remember the food being particularly bad or good either. It was "average" bar food. Fulton's might be a better option if it is on the Dining Plan and you are looking for a more comfortable atmosphere (although it too can get noisy).

I dont know if the Fultons Fish Market is on the DDP but I think that is a better choice that CJ... just my opinion!

Hmmm... Cap n jack's was a huge hit the first time we went and was able to use this new meal plan. We had a waiter that was breakin - DA- law !! He let the kids order whatever they wanted off the adult menue and was letting us do all kinds of Add on a lobster tail for $ 5.00 here and there, oh boy my husband was fanatical and we ate ther three times that week ! But the meal plan had just been started and most cast members were truly clueless of the supposed rules. One of those trips we got a different waitress and she was like saying "he shouldn't have done that" and "we can't do that, that's not how it works" wo we got the cool waiter two out of three times. He was a redhead middle aged jolly kind of fellow. That being said ........
I ate the most fabulous crab cake appetizer there !!!! Was to die for. We had lobster a lot, but I think the third time that trip my lobster seemed "undercooked" weired for a lobster. but It was a super busy night.. really that's no excuse. Yes if you don't sit way in the back last room it can be a little noisy, but we had young'ins with us, we never minded. It was good place for seafood. Sure it's worth it.

I'm not sure either if Fulton's is on the list for DDP, but if it is, I think that might be the better choice. A friend of ours is a very big steak eater but is also very picky about her steak. She had one there and said it was the best steak she ever ate. The rest of us are very big seafood eaters and they have the best.

I hate to be a downer but when we ate there on our last trip it was not our best meal. I know that other people like it but it was the worst tasting food of our entire trip and it was LOUD. We ended up snacking later (and we don't snack) because no one could finish their plate. Keep in mind that my husband is a human vacuum cleaner so it has to be pretty bad for him not to finish it.

FYI-Fulton's does not participate in the dining plan. We were going to try Captain Jacks but I have read more negative than positive reviews here & we have decided to try Ragland Road instead.

Just knew you were from NY, when you stated Fultons Fish Market....it's Fultons Crab House...the Market gets left back in NY!!!

We ate there last year during the free dining and we plan on going back.

I agree with the previous poster.....the crab cakes were wonderful with a very flavorful green salad. We enjoyed our lobster and it was a real treat for us to go there.

We had a party of 7 and we got there just as the were opening for dinner and didn't have to wait for a table.
