Cape May vs Chef Mickey's

We have ADR on our departure day for CM breakfast. I've decided we want to take our time checking out so I'm cancelling that ADR. Now we need to find an alternate time to eat with Mickey. On our arrival day we are dying to see Fantasmic and we would neet to eat early. There are no ADR available at CM before 7:40.

Now I'm considering Cape May. It has Mickey Mouse plus it's closer to our resort/MGM.

Is Cape May good for character interaction?

I just realized Cape May is not a dinner character location. Waaah!

For dinner with Mickey you have Chef Mickey's or Garden Grill. Garden Grill's menu was supposed to change this week back to family style and it's closer since it's at Epcot.
