DBF found out they have all you can eat seafood dinner, and is hooked. It would be on our last MK day, which I orginally had planned for Crystal Palace breakfast. How good is this cape may clam bake? Also do they have lunch or is it just breakfast and dinner? I'd like a fairly early reservation, since its our last night and it is our MK night.

How would you reccommend getting from MK to cape may?

We love the Cape May Clambake! It is one of our favorite places to eat. The buffet has a big variety which is very good. They have snow crab legs, clams, and on certain nights either fried shrimp, calamari, or fish. They also have alot of foods that aren't seafood. I highly recommend Cape May!

They also have a Character breakfast buffet, which is also very good. It is a large buffet as well.

From MK you could take the monorail to Epcot, then walk to BC.

Hope this gives you some idea of how it is. :)

The best way from the MK to the BC would be to just take the bus to the BC from the MK bus area! We stay at the Beach Club in July each year. The MK bus goes to the YC first and then the BC but it is fairly quick.
Though we LOVE Cape May, I don't know if I would leave MK, go to the BC and go back to MK just to eat at Cape May, that is a lot of travel time. Though with an early dinner ADR you will likely be seated quickly.
You could certainly take the monorail but much more walking through FW and then around the showcase to get to the International Gateway to exit to the Epcot resorts. You could always go one way and come back the other if you want the scenic route! On the way to the MK the BC is the second stop, so once you are on the bus the MK is your next stop.

Cape May is the best and would definitely be worth leaving the MK to go for the clam bake at Beach Club :thumbsup2 I would take the bus from MK to Beach Club.

In order to get from MK to BC you should take the bus. While you could take the monerail to Epcot and walk to BC, it would take a lot longer and you would need to have park hoppers since you would have to walk through Epcot to get to BC. Since you would be at MK that day, I don't know it I would choose to go then. Is there anyway you can go on a non park day or a day at Epcot or HS? If you couldn't fit it in another day, DH REALLY wanted it, and there were no restaurants that you wanted to go to for dinner in MK or in the surrounding resorts (CR,GF, Poly, or WL) then I would say go.

We enjoy Cape May and since we usually stay at BCV, our home resort in DVC, we stay there once per trip at least. There is a good variety of seafood and other dishes, enough for even my picky kids. I have found that the crablegs are very tasty and are served with what seems like real drawn butter, not margerine or colored oil. Also they seem to be very plentiful, not like some Chinese Buffets where you need to wait for them to come out and fight for them...:thumbsup2

Sorry but I disagree with this advice. The EASIEST way to get to BC from MK is to take the bus from MK to BC.

If you took the monorail from MK, you would have to get off at the TTC, and then walk down the ramp and back up another to transfer to the Epcot Monorail. Once at Epcot you would have to go through bag check, and then through the turnstiles (Park Hoppers required). From the from entrance of Epcot you would have to walk through FW, into WS through Canada and England and then exit at the International Gateway. From there you have to wait for a boat, or keep walking on to the BC.

Take my advice, MK Bus to BC.
