Cape May Questions

How is the food at Cape May? We are considering both a breakfast and dinner there. Do you recommend one over the other? We like Chef Mickey's but are having trouble getting the reservations we need there so I thought this might be a good alternative. Is the dinner seafood only? How long does it take to get from Epcot to Cape May?

I love that place! We went there for my birthday this year (my second time dining there). They have seafood, but it's not all they have by a long shot. My favorite is the BBQ ribs - they are SO tasty The first time I ate there I wanted to skip dessert just to have more ribs! But the ultimate is the Oreo cookie mousse thing on the dessert bar. Oh, and the mini cake they give you if it's your birthday (I think kids get cupcakes) - to die for! The salad is great, I love the mushroom salad, the potatoes are really good, the carving station . . . I think it is one of my favorite Disney restaurants now

We ate there for the first time last year and absolutely loved it!!!

I'm not huge on seafood but this stuff was incredible!! The clams especially. They do offer more then seaford...you might want to take a look at the menus....

We love the dinner. If you are a buffet type of person, it is great.

Cape May is great. Been there for both dinner and breakfest. Both terrific, but remember, it is a buffet!!! It takes about 10/15 minutes from the back gate at Epcot, a very nice walk. Enjoy!!!!

We did the character breakfast a few weeks ago and DH and I both decided this is our new favorite breakfast. The food was good and plentiful (even at the last seating when they were about to close for the afternoon), the characters were great (dressed in their bathing suits) and the atmosphere was really nice.

We had breakfast there last month and it was great....my favorite breakfast buffet at Disney. In addition to the regular buffet stuff, they had a yogurt bar that was really good.....lots of fun toppings to make a cool yogurt parfait.

My DH2B and I have only eaten breakfast there and we both agreed that it was really good. The character interaction is great and their dressed in their super cute swimming outfits and the food is awesome and a lot of. We definitely recommend this place for breakfast.

I didn't know the characters are dressed in bathing suits for breakfast!!!!! Now I'm kinda sad that I really don't have time to fit in another ressie....or I would go for breakfast as well....

Does anyone have any pictures of the characters from this restaurant....I'd love to see them?!?

Hate to be the spoiler here, but Cape May was the worst meal we've ever had anywhere. DS who normally eats anything, couldn't find anything he liked. We love seafood, and what was offered was inedible. The only thing we enjoyed was strolling around the resort, which was lovely!!
