DBF and I are traveling to The Happiest Place On Earth in May of this year and I recently called for our ADRs and we got everything we were planning on :) (Le Cellier, Ohana, 1900 Park Faire, and SOA)

With our 5 TS credits being used on the above mentioned, I booked Cape May for the one day we didn't have a TS meal which is our DHS day.

Here's my question: is Cape May at the Beach Club or Yacht Club and do the boats that service the Epcot resorts area also go to DHS? DBF and I took a boat from the Yacht Club to Epcot last year and it stopped at the Boardwalk as well but I seem to remember hearing of a boat to DHS that possibly stops at the Swan/Dolphin?

And my big question is DBF and I aren't huge into seafood (I myself won't eat it, he will eat mussels and lobsters and sometimes fried clams) is this buffet mostly seafood or are there also a good amount of 'land lover' options?

Thanks so much for the help :)

Ps pictures wouldn't hurt :goodvibes:

Cape May has a great mix of food - not just seafood. I like the prime rib last summer. You will find plenty to eat. It is at the Beach Club.

The boats go from DHS to Swan Dolphin to Beach Club/Yacht Club to Boardwalk to EPCOT. So it will be easy to float down for dinner.

Don't forget to wander around the boardwalk for the evening.

Also, It is common to see Anhingas (water birds that look a little like herons) in the water around DHS. They are fun to watch. We have seen them there several years in a row.

Cape May is one of my favorite places to eat.

Thanks for your reply! DBF and I spent a week at SOG last year and used the boat to MK often it was one of oyr favorite modes of transport. Were planning on using the boat as often as we can an even renting the Sea Racers from the Poly marina when we go in May. We love Disney by water and now I only have to wait till 2010 for our Disney cruise. :)

There are two different boat routes. One circles to all of the stops in one direction and the other circles the other direction. Check the signs on the dock.

The seafood at Cape May is just average in my opinion. We get better seafood plus excellent crab at the local Chinese Buffet at half the price.

There is very little seafood on this buffet, just clam chowder, peel and eat shrimp, steamed littleneck clams, mussles and fish of the day...there are a ton of land lubber options! Click on my Oct link for a ton of pics, it is one of our fav places to go
