DHS closes at 7pm. My ADR at Cape May is at 6:30pm. We are staying at AoA.

What is the easiest way to get back to AoA? I am concerned about buses not being available from DHS when we are done eating.

We do not have park hopper passes and we have a large group so it will not be a quick meal.

You're right to be concerned that DHS bus service may not be running after your meal and without hoppers you won't be able to walk through Epcot to catch a bus from there. Using Disney transportation, your only options are going to be to catch a bus to a park that is open or to DTD, then transfer to an AoA bus there. The MK is pretty far out of the way, however, and transferring at DTD is not always a very efficient process, although if you choose to use Disney transportation I think DTD probably would be your best bet. In addition, a bus from BC may make a stop at one or more of the other Epcot-area resorts en route to its destination.

The most efficient option would be to just bite the bullet and take a cab (or two if necessary). You should be able to get a van cab that will hold up to six or even seven passengers. Each cab likely would run $10-$15.

Are there any options from Boardwalk? Do they have buses that run to the resorts?

The buses from the Boardwalk go only to the theme parks and Downtown Disney.

To answer the OP's question - I would take the bus to the MK, if it's still open, then transfer to an AoA bus.

The easiest would be to take a cab. You can ask at the beach club vallet desk and they will call you one.
Otherwise I would take the bus to Dowtown Disney and get on the AOA bus.

The Beach Club is the last stop for the DTD bus before it goes directly to DTD Marketplace - it is only a few minutes from there. Going to MK if you look on a WDW map is further away. Just transfer at DTD to your resort (buses run until 2am). Enjoy your dinner!

I will give you the same answer here that I gave before. The buses should run for up to an hour after park closing. Ask the bus driver when you go to DHS...see what advice the driver has. That is the best source.
You can either walk (about 20 mins) from YC/BC to DHS, or take the boat....the boats tend to stop sooner than the buses do though.
You can get a cab.....you say you have a largish party. You may be able to get a van cab..or two, depending on your party size. The cost should be around $10 or so, per cab. That's what it was for us when we traveled from YC to Pop.
Or, just take the bus to an open park...that would pretty much mean MK, since you don't have hoppers and AK will be closed...and transfer to the AoA bus there. Or bus to DTD and transfer to AoA bus there.

But, a cab is the most efficient method. The ride is under 10 mins...makes more sense than waiting for a MK or DTD bus (could be 5 mins, or could be 30 mins!!), riding there, and then transfering to an AoA bus...yet another wait, and then the subsequent ride home. That would mean possibly up to 90 mins of travel time vs 10 mins.

The buses from all Disney resorts run only to the parks and DTD. The Cape May Cafe is in the Epcot resort area. Along with the Beach Club, where Cape May is located, the other resorts are Boardwalk, Yacht Club, and the Swan/Dolphin. You cannot get a bus from any Disney resort to another resort.

Since you will not have park hoppers your easiest way (outside of taking one or more taxis) is to visit Epcot the day you plan on eating at Cape May. The Beach Club is a five minute walk to/from the Epcot International Gateway entrance. After your meal you can re-enter the park and work your way to the main entrance/exit to get your resort bus. You can enter and re-enter the same park as many times as you want in the same day without a park hopper.
