We are going here for my Mother's Day Dinner this year. I tried to pick somewhere everyone in my family would enjoy. We have very picky eaters. I have read some reviews but would like to hear from anyone who has gone lately. Tell me what you really enjoyed at this dinner.
Thanks so much!

I let some negative reviews keep me from trying this place for years - BIG mistake! It's now one of our absolute favorites. I think everything down to the chicken fingers is of such high quality and tastes just delicious. Many different kinds of salads to choose from; they've got this awesome-tasting beef & noodle dish; of course the clams & mussels are great; carving station; pizza; & love the sample-sized deserts! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

We have enjoyed eating there twice and have made a reservation for our trip in August. They have a good selection and the clams are delish!! Linda :)

would anyone know if lobster is still available at an additional charge when you eat here? (it was years ago....)

We love the Clam Bake, and my kids don't eat seafood. There is definitely something for everyone here. My DS decided that he likes ribs after trying them in December :) The "kids" section of the buffet offers all sorts of stuff for even picky adults ;) I love the mussels and the clam chowder is to die for :cloud9:

Make sure you don't miss out on the desserts! There are some on the main buffet, but the really good stuff (oreo bon bons) are up front, behind the hostess desk.

I was just going to ask this question and you beat me to it. I was reading the UG 2007 and they said you could order crablegs and lobster for an extra charge. I wish it were true, I want to eat there, but I don't like clams or mussels only shrimp and can't justify the cost just for shrimp.

Has anyone gotten crablegs or lobster recently?

We have gone the last two Septembers. Really enjoyed it the first time, last time we only found it so-so. As a pp said, besides mussels, clams and shrimp...not a lot of seafood. The chicken they had in September was dry, the beef was too rare for me and I did not like the ribs at all. I do not recall ever being able to order lobster or crab as a side.

We went in Oct 07. There wasn't an option to order any additional items. The food is really good. As someone that doesn't care for seafood, I found a lot of things to eat. The ribs and chicken were really good, not dry at all. I know that this sounds goofy, but I really like the Parker House rolls and the Oreo Bonbons! It worth a trip to BC for dinner. (In case you want to know breakfast is good also). Both meals are on our list for Sept.

We're planning to go. DD's favorite things are seafood and ribs. Needless to say, she's looking forward to dinner there!

Thanks so much for all of the information. We are really looking forward to our dinner!

glad to see some positive reviews for this place! we are looking forward to dinner on the 4th after a day at Discovery Cove!!

I am so excited. I just switched around all my adr's to eat here again. We were going to try for all new places, but it was so great. the variety is great, and I loved that my daughter can eat dinner that doesn't have chicken nuggets on it. their desert bar is so great!! my recommendation is to send one person up and get some of everything. It was so much fun for us to make a desert buffet in the middle of our table. If you plan it just right (we're going in july and booked a 7 pm dinner) you can get done and walk over to see illuminations just in time.
