I know I have read on here that Cape May Clam Bake has reduced it's buffet significantly, but can't find it through the search option.
Has anyone been there for dinner lately (not interested in breakfast)?
What all did they have, and what have they removed from the buffet?
Thanks in advance for your help.

we were just there about a week ago and we loved it. The crab legs were awesome and so were the desserts, soups, salads, clams, and mac and cheese. I don't know about what they took off. It looked pretty well stocked to me. If you are asking about something specific let me know and I can tell you if it was there. We loved our meal here. We took our time and enjoyed the seafood items very much. Good service too. I will say though that if you aren't a seafood person, I don't know how worth it it would be. Thats just my opinion though. I didn't think anything was that fabulous but for us the seafood makes it so worth it. have fun on your trip.

We went for dinner at the end of September. Don't GO. It was our worst dining experience during our entire stay at Disney. The wait staff were rushed and impatient, the food was mediocre at best (the fresh tray of salmon was cold - I watched them bring it our and was first to get a crack at it and it was cold). The clams were over cooked and chewy. The only highlight was the crayons which occupied DD4 and the desserts.

did they still have prime rib?? we're leaving on sat to stay at the BC and have ressie there one night

We (DH, DD15, DD12 and I) went for dinner Sun and we did not like this buffet at all and we are NOT picky eaters. We had been a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. However this time we felt like the food did not have very much flavour and some of it was just plain awful! Needless to say we will not be returning

After years of intending to go here, making and cancelling ressies, on a whim we walked up around 6 pm one evening this Oct. They gave us a buzzer and we repaired to the bar. Before we finished our second drink we got the call and I have to say it was a very enjoyable meal. I had my fill of clams, crab legs and shrimp as well as other goodies, topped off with cheesecake. Was it the best meal we ever had at WDW? No, but we're glad we stopped in and we'll probably do it again.

I've eaten here several times-the last time was in August. I like it, I haven't had a bad meal yet. I really enjoy the clam chowder, and the desserts are good as well.

We were last at Cape May in May and it was wonderful. Yes, there was still prime rib, and the selections were not reduced at all. We've found this meal consistently good every year since 2002, and will be back on our next trip (in another 3 weeks).

Recent reports on Cape May (over the last 2-4 weeks) have reported that crab legs were added back onto the buffet line, so my family is looking forward to that!

Pixie....I don't remember seeing prime rib, but I wasn't really looking for it so don't quote me on this. I was too absorbed in my crab legs!! The Beach Club at Christmas is beautiful and just added to our enjoyment of this meal. I say go....its fun and a great atmosphere. They also have make your own gingerbread cookie (decorate it...not make it) for the kids in the lobby in the evenings and its free!! We did it while we waited for our table (which wasn't a long wait at all). Enjoy.

Just ate there last week. My dh only had 2 buckets of crab legs and cornbread. The minestrone soup was good. I liked the cold peeled shrimp, it was seasoned well, and the beef was terrible, but we were there late at night and I remember the chicken and sausage and peppers being good. I didnt try the seafood side.

We ate there on Tuesday and it was delicious. The snow crab leg addition to the buffet was a surprise to us. I'm a fan of crab legs, DH isn't, but he really enjoys the sausage dish they have. We both like the peel and eat shrimp, and mac and cheese.

I consider their cornbread my dessert! I always enjoy the mussels and the clams. We are both very very happy with the offerings at the Cape May Clambake!

We're fans of the breakfast as well.

Ate there Thursday night....They had clams, mussels, crab legs, peel and eat shrimp, tilapia, penne pasta with shrimp, carved sirloin, chicken, ribs, pizza, chicken nuggets, Mac n cheese, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, boiled new potatoes, salads, green beans, carrots, corn bread, assorted rolls and butter, cookies, brownies, key lime pie, oreo bon bons, cupcakes, cheesecake and flan for dessert.Everything was FABULOUS and we will go back again and again ( it was one of our favs the last few trips)

I was there on Tuesday night. We go every single trip, and I couldn't tell you what was missing. I thoroughly enjoyed the addition of crab legs! I usually pig out at Cape May, but the low-carb option of crab legs made me feel less guilty.

I just came back and I stayed at YC! I passed Cape May and it smelled really good! It looked like it had a lot of food too! I know you are looking for dinner, but we tried to get in for breakfast and it was booked!

We just dined there in November and loved it. It was a late addition to our trip since we were staying at Boardwalk and were looking for a restaurant that was close. While it wasn't the best dinner of our trip, it was very good and a pleasant surprise. The crab legs were delicious as well as the clam chowder. My wife insists that we go back next year. I am not sure what they took off as we have never dined there before, but it seemed like they had a good selection.

Our family of three (including our 15 month old) "attended" the clam bake one evening in May 2009 and loved it. Food was delicious and service was super friendly. Can't wait to eat here again!
