Has anyone done this before? I found it on allears.net but it didn't have the answer for me. Is this just a breakfast buffet that happens to have characters and is open to whomever walks in or is this a formal breakfast that requires ADR's, like Chef Mickey's? Thanks!

Yes, it's a formal buffet that requires ADRs. This is my family's favorite Character meal because the character's spend a little more time with guests. Mickey and Minnie don't come around to the tables, but they are positioned towards the front of the restaurant so that you can go up to them and get pics.
It's not like CM where you see them before the meal, you go up to them whenever you want.

Umm, I'm not sure when the last time you went to Cape May was, but Mickey's not there. It's Minnie, Goofy and Donald. They come around to all the tables and do spend a good bit of time with you. It's a bit more of an adult atmosphere than Chef Mickey's. It's much quieter, and the buffet's not nearly as big. That said, I much prefer Cape May. It's relaxing. I would definitely make an ADR

Ummm, sometime this year? I had to look at the pictures and my kids have long sleeves on, so maybe Feb? Chip and Dale were still there, but I guess they changed the characters. The food was good though and they had Mickey waffles...the most important item on any buffet!

Thanks for the help! Sounds great. I think we'll probably do Cape May for breakfast and Chef Mickey's for dinner.
Once again the Dis'ers come thru!

We love this breakfast, it is so much fun and the food has always been awesome.

Us too! We ate there the end of October and it was great! I was wondering if I had missed something myself :rotfl: didn't remember seeing Mickey..only Minnie, Donald and Goofy!

It's not only my favorite Character breakfast spot, it's my favorite breakfast spot at WDW.

Its really good. I have been there a few times and the food was always great and the characters a blast. Definitley go if you havent been before!:santa:

This gets raves but we went last year - wasn't impressed with character interactions, and as far as the buffet goes - it's a breakfast buffet - they're all pretty much the same to me. Mickey waffles were cute, but it was NOT worth the "out of the way" that it took to get there. (We had free dining, so we took a cab - spent about $30 back and forth from POFQ - I should've just done CMs.)
