Never been to Cape May Café. We have been to Chef Mickey before.
Staying at Beach Club.
How is Cape May Café for Breakfast?
Thanks

We really liked Cape May for breakfast on our last trip. The food was fresh, and the character interaction was much less rushed than Chef Mickey.

I would do Cape May or for more buffet variety, walk over to Garden Grove at the Swan. They also have characters during weekend breakfasts and the food is better than Cape May and CM IMHO.

Another vote for Cape May!!! Love their food, especially French crepes with mascarpone, yum!
Great character interaction, no where near as crazy, rushed, or loud as Chef Mickey's!

Chef Mickey's is one of a very few that make our "never again" list. Gave brunch a try last Easter and it was one of the worst meal's we have ever experienced. Cape May was just "okay" but was clean and service was fine. I would highly recommend Garden Grill and Tusker House for buffet character breakfasts. If you can do a non character the Captain's Grille and Wave are wonderful.

Also, are you doing a resort day ? I would try to dine where you want to spend the morning.

We've been to both multiple times, and would absolutely choose Cape May. Far better food, much less chaos, always better service, and super convenient when staying at BC. We've stayed at BC many times over the years, and returned for Easter weekend last year. It's a great fit for the Easter holiday with a festive atmosphere and easter activities - I'd definitely stick around BC and book Cape May.

Just a thought... Haven't been there, but I have read wonderful things about Narccoossee's brunch at GF. I'm sure they will have an Easter brunch. No characters though...

Cape May would be the one to go to, especially since you are staying at the BC. The food there is good and the character interaction is very relaxed. It has a very laid back atmosphere, unlike the wide open spaces of Chef Mickey's.

Cape May!! Much more of a relaxed atmosphere ..especially for Easter... CHef Mickeys is like a Mad House ..

We're doing Cape May breakfast for the first time during our upcoming trip. We always do the dinner every trip but for some reason we've never done breakfast. We're really looking forward to it!! :thumbsup2

We have done both. We go back to Cape May for breakfast. The food is basically the same. The difference is the atmosphere. Cape May is smaller and more sectioned off. Where Chef Mickey, if you get stuck in the main dinning room, you are there with hundreds of people. It is noisy, and you are always being watched / interrupted when your time with the characters comes.

We love Cape May. I personally feel it's the most underrated character meal on property. Great atmosphere and not very overwhelming.

:thumbsup2 Cape May for sure!

Better food, better character interaction, better service, quieter, cleaner and wonderful way to start a day!

I like both, but since you're staying at BC opt for the most convenient location...Cape May!
