We have a reservation for my son's 2nd birthday at Cape May Cafe for breakfast. We wanted Chef Mickey's but they were full.

How is the breakfast at Cape May compared to CM? Will it be every bit as nice, or should I continue to try to get in at CM?

Thanks!

We've not done b-fast at Chef Mickey's but we did dinner there in Dec. and had b-fast at Cape May's. I can tell you that Cape May's was wonderful and didn't seem as crowded as a lot of places. It was no where near as loud as Chef Mickey's either. I have a friend who has been for the b-fast and dinner at Chef Mickey's and she say's that it's just as loud at both times. I know that we felt a lot more relaxed at Cape May's then at Chef Mickey's.

Cape May Cafe brkfst is good, but CM is a favorite of ours. CM has a fun, upbeat atmosphere, a very good brkfst buffet with a nice selection, and good character interaction with the Fab 5. Cape May brkfst buffet is much more limited, but if you want a more relaxed restaurant, then Cape May would be a better choice. Also keep in mind, Cape May can be difficult to get to from another resort for brkfst - a taxi will most likely be your best bet.

Cape May is awesome! Click on my Oct pics if you want to see a ton of buffet pics...Chef Mickeys does have the 2 extra characters and the food is great there too

IMO, Cape May is waaaaaay better. I think it's the best character b'fast on property. And, you get to meet Donald!

Sorry, I didn't care for Cape May Cafe.:sad2:

We've been there three times and it's great if you're staying in the Epcot resorts area, but I wouldn't travel out of my way for it.

The food selection is pretty standard and the character interaction was okay. The whole experience was just okay.

Chef Mickey's is FUN! The food variety is wonderfull and the characters are the fab five! :yay:

I would keep trying for Chef Mickeys, sorry I know you don't want to hear that :sad2:
