We'll be arriving at Beach Club on Sept 25, after a three day stay a Royal Pacific Hotel at Universal. Our only restaurant reservation planned for the whole stay is the morning we arrive, and 8:55am breakfast at Cape May Café. We figured it would be a good chance to relax and immerse ourselves in Disney service and Beach Cub ambience before we head off for our first day in the parks. Most of our meals will be a quick service stop somewhere and stops at Food & Wine kiosks. We are usually Wilderness Lodge folk, so the EPCOT hotel area is new to us. Is Cape May a good place for a breakfast and a first stop? Opinions of experts would be very helpful. TIA

I don’t normally eat a hot breakfast in the morning but looking at the menu, and knowing the eatery’s location, it seems like it should meet your purpose.

Cape May Breakfast is a great start to your day ! The food was delicious when we were there in June . My son loved the French toast even more than the Mickey waffles! They have POG juice so be sure to ask for it. Not every server will mention it because you have to go to a different area to get it . That’s what our server told us when we noticed a table of twenty somethings with out it . We wanted to tell them to ask for it ! Have a great trip !

We went in June and enjoyed. We were staying at YC, so it was a nice checkout day meal. For $25 I think it is a good breakfast—if the price went back up to pre-COVID price I might rethink it bc it pretty basic breakfast food. One con was that for something that was already plated and the staff was just grabbing off the buffet station, the meal was kind of slow. We might’ve just had a CM who was newer or not well-trained but we spent a lot of time looking for her and flagging other people down. Despite that we had a nice booth near the edge and it was a pleasant cheery spot for breakfast.

So is that how they're doing it at Cape May now? Does the $25 include your beverage-juice or coffee? Do they bring a plate of everything, then you can ask for more? If so, that sounds like a great price.

Looks like hot beverages are included based on the menu. It is a decent breakfast for the price and they’re using real eggs:

Yes, they bring everything and then you ask for more of whatever you want. All beverages except alcohol are included. I got both orange juice and coffee. You could any flavor juice, coffee, tea, milk.

Thanks for your inputs. We're going to lock this in as our Disney Day 1 start plan.

:thumbsup2

I just can't see myself eating crab legs and peel and eat shrimp for breakfast. Wait do they have a different menu for breakfast? :)

Just a heads up at the all you can eat places, if you don’t want a particular item you can tell them. And you can tell them you want more of something you do like.

One more tip: if you want an omelet, ask if you can go ahead and order it when ordering your beverages. Last Thursday we did that and the omelet came at the same time as the plates with bacon and waffles. Right now Pop loves this place, so as long as the price stays at the $25, we’re bringing him every week (locals). This place has done magic for him!
