I made ADR for Cap'n Jack's for my DH birthday meal and now I'm not sure about it. No one really speaks about it. Should I change to another restaurant on the DDP? It's just the 2 of us. What to do?:confused3

DW & I went there twice in years gone by, and had a 50% success ratio with our meals. The first time we both really enjoyed it, and the second time it was better than the typical resturant in the 'real world,' but there would be places within WDW we'd be more willing to go to again/try for the first time. Then they changed the menue a little, eliminating one of our favorite entrees, the twin lobster tails. I thought the lobster was good both times, but the sides seemed a bit bland the second time there. The reason not much is said about it anymore might be the change in menu, because one could get twin lobster tails on the dining plan for one credit. I would be willing to go back there in the future, but if you're looking for something in DTD, I'd give RR a shot before Cap'n Jack's (if you're limited to the DDP) or Fulton's (OOP meals).

I agree with the PP's assessement. We loved it last year on DDP, but went specifically for the twin lobster tails. Our meal was wonderful, can't think that the sides weren't good, and we would go back. Foultons is another good option for OOP, we have always had good food there, but if you are not after lobster, I would stick with Cap'n Jacks.
