Cant Wait

We are coming to WDW for the first time Nov 7...we are a male 53 and female 51 and we have saved for 8 years for this trip...Disney has been a DREAM for me all my life...but...life got in the way...also son 24 and Girlfriend will be coming with us...maybe...just maybe we will be lucky enough to get a dream come true from Disney..my god …its almost time …a little over 2 weeks….to wax poetetically if I may...I used to watch "Wonderful World Of Disney" every Sunday as a child and young adult with dreams of going there some day...we are staying at CSR with MYW and DDP
All I can say is we have a count down going and CANNOT wait until Nov 7, 2007 at 5:30 am when we leave for WDW!!!!!:

I am soooooo excited for you. I LOVE Disney. I worked there during a college internship in 93 and every since then we try to go every year. This year we will have gone 3 times in Dec. Beware, you too will get hooked. There is so much too do. Don't try to do everything. Just go with the flow and enjoy. It is an experience of a life time. Please let us know how things go when you get back. If you have any questions before you leave let us know. You have a lot of pros here to ask. Sorry one more thing to add. We went in Sept, a couple weeks ago, and stayed at CSR. I LOVED it. See if you can get near a bus stop. That was a life saver. We were also near the pool, Dig Site, and that was great. The grounds are beautiful and the Pepper Market was wonderful. This was a great place to stay and we will stay there again. I am soooo excited for you, Stephanie

I am so excited for you. My family and I went to Disney last year for our first trip. I was the same as you. I had waited. All my brothers and sisters had gone when they were young. I was the last born and we never got to go. But the wait was worth it! I was glad I got to do it first with our kids. We our saving to go again in 2008. Like the pp said it is addicting. I wish you and your family lots of magic. You will have a blast and make lots of memories!

Wait till you are walking down Main Street and see the castle for the first time~it always brings tears to my eyes. Have a great time.

I thought the castle woulg get me, but it really hit me when we sat down to watch Lion King at AK. I don't know why, we were all sitting together it was our third day and we were all just having such a good time. I just teared up. The kids didn't understand, but my husband did. Spent a year planning but a lifetime wanting to go. It was worth it.

How wonderful for you to finally make it there . You are going to love every single second of it . I still remember the first time I went, which was on my honeymoon at 26. We did MK first because of course you have to start there, and from the second I walked onto Main Street I was on !!! It was truly an enchanted trip, and in the 2 times I have been back since, it has stayed just as near and dear to my heart as it did then. I am more of a Disney fanatic then I was then and become more so with each passing year. We plan to go back again next year for our 15th anniversary .

I hope you have a fabulous trip and that you maybe get to be one of those "Million Dreams" winners. Don't forget to go out for a nice romantic dinner alone one night >
