Can't wait to eat

We are heading to POP in 9 days and are on the free DP and I am so excited. We have gone to Disney before but paid OOP for every meal and boy-oh-boy did it add up. It was our first trip with our DD8 and DS6 and wanted it to be special. $6000 later (total airfare, food, hotel, passes, water, etc.) it took us the rest of the year to pay it off. This trip our DD12 and DS9 would eat our last penny if we paid OOP, but we have the FREE DP (our first time having this). They (even my DH) can not believe they can order anything they want. I will not be TRYING to control the budget. I AM SO EXCITED. I do have ADR's and we are just counting the days. Hopefully their are other people aout there just as excited about eating for free.

We also decided to drive my DH mini-cooper to save $110 in gas. I drive a gas guzzling SUV. We will have to stop and stretch more but when the kids did the math and realized what we would save (and could spend in the parks), they voted for the Mini.

yay! me too! we leave in a week, and I'm so so so so so so excited for the food. Our lifestyle at home doesn't allow us to eat out much, and I just ADORE eating a nice meal....probably this is the second thing on my list in terms of what I'm most looking forward to behind seeing my kids have the time of their lives...

Coral Reef
Raglan Road
Garden Grill (thinking of changing due to posts saying it is slimy and cold, would hate to use a TS credit on buffet that is slimy and cold)(kids dont care about Character dinning)
Aloha Dinner Show (I know this is a 2 TS but from what I hear it is worth it, if you have never done it) (since it is FREE, why not)
Mama Melrose for the Fantasmic package

It takes forever to get here and then BAM its over and you get to start planning (and paying the credit card off) again. We will enjoy it while it lasts.

We'll be there 9/20 - 10/1. This is our second time using free dining. You will absolute love it! We have always done TS on our trips but with free dining the kids (DS 20 and DS 17 are still kids to me) get to order whatever they want and they absolutely love it.

I can almost TASTE the meal at Citricos we're going to devour on Saturday night... and then Tonga toast on Sunday morning! Anyone doing MNSSHP while your there? DBF and I are going to the Sept. 28th party... 5 more sleeps!!!!!!!!

Just faxed my room prefs from work. Must be getting close. Don't know if faxing prefs still works but will find out on Friday. Must be getting close my countdown clock says 3 days and 1 hour till the plane takes off from Allentown, PA. at 8 am Should be in sunny Florida by 10AM. Kicking off our first dinner at Boatrwrights before that will either do a CS in MK or Epcot if we get to the POP and checked in early enough if not we will head to DTD Earl of Sandwich hang around in DTD for a few hours then take the boat to Riverside (Boatwrights) for dinner.

Actually we got married nearly a year ago - our Disneymoon is very belated *L* We didn't have the time to take off right after our wedding, so we opted to wait a year for our honeymoon... We will actually be spending our 1st anniversary at Epcot, which I'm very excited.

We will be wearing the Bride and Groom ears on that day, and honeymoon pins the rest of the time
