Can't Wait leaving for FW/DW in 10 days!!!!!

We'll be leaving the Akron/Canton area for our first trip ever to FW/DW in 10 days with our four kids (17,17,9,7) and taking hubby's aunt since she does so much for us.

This will be the furthers we've driven with the hybrid camper.
Two weeks ago went camping in WV and only got 8 miles to the gallon..yikes! so we budgeted about $1000 just for gas round trip.

We only planned MK and Epcot visit... then downtown Disney things hanging around the Fort rest of time!

Hubby is bummed that we can't have a campfire on our site ( think I read that)

. . . as an ex-Parma-people, we know AK/C very well
. . . too bad you are leaving now, when the weather is FINALLY getting nice
. . . but, ANYTIME you leave for The Fort is a good time

. . . so many use The Fort as a "normal" campground
. . . lots of us don't even go to the park(s) while there

. . . top and bottom must be solid steel and sides mesh (totally enclosed unit)

Yea I was bummed about the campfire also at first... But between the Chip and Dale campfire and this firepit http://www.kmart.com/portable-outdoor-firepit/p-089W005397384001P that I picked up for $35 at Kmart I think I will be able to get my Fix. (and if anyone will be there on the 27th and wants the fire pit please let me know)
