can't vote in polls

When I try to vote in a poll, I get this error message:

"The action you have attempted could not be performed as your session appears to be invalid. Click the below link to attempt this action again with a new session."

When I click the link to make a new session, I get the same error. It is not a huge deal, but what can I do to make my session "valid"?

For whatever reason, I was just able to vote in a poll I have been trying for a few days with the same error message everytime. All is well.

Sorry that I didn't get back to your post. I'm glad that things are working for you now.

If you have this happen again, go to the Main Discussion Page and look near the upper right corner but not all the way at the top. You should see Welcome back, KathyR. If you don't, then you aren't logged in and that, I think, will cause that error.

I've had a few times in the last week or so that, for no apparent reason, I've somehow gotten logged off just while browsing the boards. I didn't even know it had happened until I went to vote in a poll or post a reply.

I don't know if that is what was happening to you but it would be something to look at if it happens again.

that was the first thing I checked, but that was not it. I don't know what it was, but whatever it was it is not a prob at the moment Thanks for you response
